Water Heater Installation pricing

The type of heater is only part of the price. We check the size, location and connections so you know what the installation includes.

Choose the right comparison

What kind of work do you need?

Compare the scope that fits your situation. Buying the equipment yourself changes what is included in an installation price. Access and any additional work still need to be checked.

Every home is a little different

What can change the price?

We check the condition of the plumbing and how we can reach it. Your written estimate should make the work clear before you choose an option.

  • Who supplies the heater, plus its capacity and model.
  • Floor-level access, a shelf, stairs or a tight installation space.
  • Permit handling, expansion control, pan and discharge requirements.
  • The condition of the shutoffs, water connections and electrical supply.

Know what the estimate covers.

Work described in this guide

  • A new heater when the selected option says Integrity supplies it.
  • Installation and testing as described in the written estimate.
  • Old-unit removal, permits and connection work when listed in the installation scope.

Check separately in writing

  • The equipment purchase when you supply the heater.
  • New circuits, gas lines, venting, relocation or other work outside the quoted installation.
  • Any permit, connection or code work not included in the selected estimate.

Service FAQ

Can you install a heater I buy myself?

We can assess a suitable customer-supplied unit. Send us the model and a photo of the installation space. The installation band excludes your equipment purchase and depends on the connections and additional work.

Are the permit and code upgrades included?

Your estimate will identify permit handling and the required installation work. An advertised range does not make every electrical or plumbing upgrade an automatic inclusion.

Why does the installation location affect the price?

A tank on the garage floor is different from one on a shelf or upstairs. Access, handling and the route of the connections can change the work. We check the space before preparing your estimate.
