Faucet, toilet, and disposal repairs
Dripping faucets, running toilets, and jammed garbage disposals are the bread and butter of any plumbing day. A drip at the spout is usually a worn cartridge or O-ring, both quick fixes. A toilet that runs continuously is usually a worn flapper or fill valve. A garbage disposal that hums but does not spin usually has something jammed in the impeller, and a small fix gets it back to life. We carry the cartridges, fill valves, and flappers for the major brands like Moen, Delta, Kohler, Pfister, and American Standard so most of these are one visit fixes.
Pressure regulators and hose bibs
If you have water hammer (the loud bang when a faucet shuts off), fluctuating pressure, or appliances that fail before their time, your pressure regulator may be out of spec. The pressure regulator is the valve near where the water enters the home that keeps incoming pressure at a safe range. We test it on most service calls and replace it when the pressure is above 80 PSI. Hose bibs on the outside of the home are another common repair, especially on older West Palm Beach homes where the brass valves have corroded over the decades.
Pipe and fitting leaks
Slow drips at fittings under sinks, at the water heater connection, or where supply lines meet the angle stops are all everyday repairs. Most of these are caught early by the homeowner who spots a damp spot under the cabinet. If you catch a leak before drywall damage starts, the repair is fast and inexpensive. Caught late, it becomes a drywall, flooring, and possibly mold remediation job. The lesson: when you see a damp spot, call. We will come out the same day and stop the damage before it grows.
Older home considerations
West Palm Beach has a lot of homes built between the 1940s and 1970s, and the original plumbing in those homes is often galvanized steel or older copper. Galvanized scales up on the inside and reduces flow long before it fully fails. Older copper can develop pinhole leaks from decades of hard water. Many repairs on older homes turn into a conversation about whether to keep patching the original system or repipe in modern PEX. We are honest about which makes more sense for your home and timeline.
What we always check on a service call
Most service calls turn into more than the original issue once a plumber takes a real look. On every visit, we test the water pressure at a hose bib (high pressure damages everything downstream over time), check the shut off valves under sinks and toilets to make sure they actually shut off when needed, look at the water heater anode rod if it is accessible, and scan for slow drips at every fitting in the area we are working in. We catch the kind of small problems that turn into big problems if they go unnoticed for another year. None of this adds to the visit cost. It is just what a thorough plumber does.
Same day service and after hours
Most plumbing repair calls we get are scheduled the same day. Our trucks are stocked with the parts and tools needed to fix the most common issues in one visit. For after hours emergencies, a real person answers the phone, not an answering service. If you are dealing with a burst pipe, an active sewer backup, or a leaking water heater, do not wait. Shut off the home at the main water valve if you can, then call us. The faster a real plumber is on site, the less damage you end up with.

Plumbing repair often overlaps with a homeowners insurance claim, especially after a burst pipe, sewer backup, or major leak. We make the claim process easier by documenting everything as we go. That means timestamped photos of the affected area, written pressure readings, a detailed scope of the repair, and the parts replaced.
