Shower Repair pricing

We look at the valve, trim and access behind the wall. You will know whether the job is a part replacement or a larger repair.

Choose the right comparison

What kind of work do you need?

Compare the scope that fits your situation. Buying the equipment yourself changes what is included in an installation price. Access and any additional work still need to be checked.

Written estimate

Confirm the scope in your written estimate

Multiple outlets, unusual valves or substantial wall work can move the project outside these planning bands.

Every home is a little different

What can change the price?

We check the condition of the plumbing and how we can reach it. Your written estimate should make the work clear before you choose an option.

  • The valve brand, model and part availability.
  • A replaceable cartridge versus the valve body behind the wall.
  • Access from the back of the wall or through the shower surface.
  • Trim choices, outlets and the condition of the supply connections.

Know what the estimate covers.

Work described in this guide

  • The cartridge, valve or trim work identified in your estimate.
  • Testing the repaired shower and checking for leaks.

Check separately in writing

  • Tile, waterproofing, drywall, paint and other finished surfaces unless included.
  • Premium trim, specialty parts or additional outlets beyond the quoted work.
  • A new shower enclosure or full bathroom remodel.

Service FAQ

Can a new cartridge fix the shower?

It depends on the fault and the valve condition. We identify the model and inspect the problem before deciding whether a cartridge repair is suitable.

Will the wall need to be opened?

Some parts can be serviced from the front. Replacing the valve body may require access behind the wall. We explain the planned opening and restoration responsibilities in the estimate.

Does the range include tile and paint?

Do not assume those finishes are included. The plumbing scope and any restoration need to be listed together so you know the full project cost.
