Garbage Disposal Repair & Installation pricing

A jammed disposal and a failed motor need different solutions. We check the unit and its drain connections before pricing the work.

Choose the right comparison

What kind of work do you need?

Compare the scope that fits your situation. Buying the equipment yourself changes what is included in an installation price. Access and any additional work still need to be checked.

Integrity supplies the equipment

Integrity-supplied standard disposal installation

$539–$897

Planning range for this scope

A planning band for selected 1/2–3/4 HP units with installation. The estimate identifies the model and connections.

You supply the equipment

We check the cause before quoting. Removing an obstruction is not a new-disposal installation.

Written estimate

Confirm the scope in your written estimate

We list any rerouting or replacement connections so they are not hidden inside the equipment price.

Every home is a little different

What can change the price?

We check the condition of the plumbing and how we can reach it. Your written estimate should make the work clear before you choose an option.

  • Whether the disposal can be serviced or needs replacement.
  • The selected horsepower, model and equipment supplier.
  • The condition and layout of the trap, drain and mounting connections.
  • Electrical connection requirements and space under the sink.

Know what the estimate covers.

Work described in this guide

  • The new disposal when the option says Integrity supplies it.
  • Installation and testing of the selected scope.

Check separately in writing

  • The purchase of a customer-supplied unit.
  • Drain rerouting, extensive clearing or sink work unless included.
  • Electrical repairs or new wiring outside the installation scope.

Service FAQ

Does a humming disposal need replacement?

The sound alone does not tell us the whole problem. We check the unit and connections, then explain whether service or replacement makes sense.

Can you install a unit I already bought?

We can assess it for the existing sink, drain and electrical connection. The customer-supplied band covers the stated installation work and excludes the unit you buy.

Does installation include changing all the drain pipes?

Only the work listed in the estimate is included. If the new unit needs a different drain layout, we explain and price that added work.
