Drain Cleaning pricing

A slow sink and a backed-up main line need different work. We check the blockage and explain the clearing options before you choose.

Choose the right comparison

What kind of work do you need?

Compare the scope that fits your situation. Buying the equipment yourself changes what is included in an installation price. Access and any additional work still need to be checked.

Service or repair

Fixture or main-line cable clearing

$315–$891

Planning range for this scope

Access and the affected drain change the work. Confirm any toilet removal and camera inspection in the estimate.

Service or repair

Main-line clearing with camera inspection

$988–$1,207

Planning range for this scope

A planning band for a combined clearing and inspection visit. Repairs to damaged pipe are separate.

Service or repair

Kitchen-line jetting

$810–$1,510

Planning range for this scope

For buildup that calls for jetting. The connection and camera access still need to be checked.

Service or repair

Main-line cleaning with hydro jetting

$1,976–$2,415

Planning range for this scope

A more involved cleaning scope. Jetting does not replace a broken or collapsed pipe.

Every home is a little different

What can change the price?

We check the condition of the plumbing and how we can reach it. Your written estimate should make the work clear before you choose an option.

  • Access through a cleanout, roof vent or a toilet that must be removed.
  • A simple obstruction, built-up grease, roots or a damaged pipe.
  • Cable clearing, camera inspection and jetting needed for the job.

Service FAQ

Why is there such a wide drain-cleaning range?

Clearing one sink is a different job from reaching a main-line blockage and cleaning the pipe. We explain the method, access and inspection work so you can compare the whole scope.

Will the estimate include a camera inspection?

We use camera inspections on main-line calls to help explain the condition of the pipe. Your estimate will show how inspection fits into the visit and any clearing or access needed first.

Does clearing a drain fix a broken pipe?

Clearing can restore flow through an obstruction. A damaged pipe may need a separate repair. If we find that kind of problem, we will show you the options before adding work.
